Q: How do I purchase a membership to citydiscountdeals.com?

A: Becoming a member is easy!  Just follow these simple steps:

  1. Just go to www.citydiscountdeals.com & click on the "Buy A Membership" button at the top of the page.
  2. Review Rules of use and Terms of Use then click ‘I agree’.
  3. Enter sales code or fundraiser code if applicable.
  4. Check the box of your area/city.
  5. Enter your account information.
  6. Click ‘Submit Registration’.
  7. Enter Payment information and submit.

Q: How do I Activate my Membership with a Gift Certificate?

A: Activating a Gift Certificate and becoming a member is easy!  Just follow these simple steps:

  1. Just go to www.citydiscountdeals.com & click on the "Activiate Gift Certificate" link at the top of the page.
  2. Review Rules of use and Terms of Use then click ‘I agree’.
  3. Enter Gift Certificate code located on your Gift Certificate.
  4. Check the box of your area/city.
  5. Enter your account information.
  6. Click ‘Submit Registration’. 

Q: How do I search for discount coupons?

A: Once logged in, there are three easy ways to find an offer!

  1. Click 'All Categores' in the Directory to view all discount offers alphabetically.
  2. Click a category in the Directory to view discount offers within that category.
  3. Type the name of a Business in the Business Search box to locate discount offers from that business.

Q: What if I forget my login or password?

A: Retrieving your login and password information is easy!
After one incorrect login attempt, you will be asked if you need your login and password to be emailed to you at the eamil address you used when you registered as a member on the site.  Simply, follow the instructions emailed to you.


Q: What can I do to make sure I receive email updates from citydiscountdeals.com?

A: Make sure sales@citydiscountdeals.com is added to your email contact list and not flagged as spam. 


Q: How will I know when there are new discount offers on the site or when discount offers are nearing expiration?

A:  Discount offers that are new within 30 days will be indicated on the listing with a green 'NEW' notation.
Discount offers that are expiring within 30 days will be indicated on the listing with a red 'ENDING SOON' notation. 


Q: Once I print a discount coupon, how long do I have to redeem it?

A: Each coupon will expire 7 days from the date of printing, or less if the offer date expires in less than the 7 days.  Each coupon will clearly indicate the expiration date.


Q: Where do I find the "Print Coupon" button?

A: When you've gone to the detail page of a particular offer by clicking on "More Info", scroll down to the bottom of the page and you'll find the "Print Coupon" button.  Do not try to print from the regular printer icon located in the toolbar above the website page, it will not print out the coupon.

Q: What if the "Print Coupon" button doesn't show up at the bottom of the coupon details page?

A: First verify that the website recognizes that your membership is ACTIVE. Go to "My Page" in the upper right-hand corner of your page after you've signed in. At the top of this page you should see "Active Memberships" and directly underneath it should detail the City and membership expiration date. If it doesn't identify these items, your membership is not recognized as being active, and you should contact our Tech Support team at techsupport@citydiscountdeals.com. Briefly explain your issue, and provide the following:

  • Member's name 
  • Email address used to register membership
  • Telephone number and best time to call (morning, afternoon, evening)
  • If your membership is active and the "Print Coupon" button doesn't appear at he bottom of the coupon detaal page, try logging out of the website, then logging back in.  If that doesn't work, log out, clear your cache, and then log back in again. To clear your cache, go to "Tools" in the toolbar at the top of the website, select "Internet Options", and under the "General" tab choose to "Delete" your Browsing History and click "OK".  If you still don't see the "Print Coupon" button, you should contact our Tech Support team at techsupport@citydiscountdeals.com. Briefly explain your issue, and provide the following:                         

  • Member's name 
  • Email address used to register membership
  • Telephone number and best time to call (morning, afternoon, evening) 

  • Q: What do I do if my coupon doesn't print properly?

    A: First, before printing, take all measures to eliminate any possibilities of printer error (i.e., check to make sure there is power to the printer, that the computer and printer are communicating properly, that you have sufficient ink in the printer cartridge, that you have paper in the printer, that there are no existing paper jams, etc).

    Secondly, verify that the website recognizes that your membership is ACTIVE. Go to "My Page" in the upper right-hand corner of your page after you've signed in. At the top of this page you should see "Active Memberships" and directly underneath it should detail the City and membership expiration date. If it doesn't identify these items, your membership is not recognized as being active, and you should contact our Tech Support team at techsupport@citydiscountdeals.com.   

    If you still experience a problem that results in a coupon not properly printing, contact technical support at techsupport@citydiscountdeals.com, mention “coupon printing problem” and supply us the following information:

    • Member's name 
    • Email address used to register membership
    • Telephone number and best time to call (morning, afternoon, evening) 

    Q: What do I do if a participating business doesn’t allow me to redeem a valid coupon?

    A: First, try to work it out with the business management or owner.  If the issue is not resolved, please email our sales department at sales@citydiscountdeals.com, and provide the following:

    • Member's name
    • Email address used to register membership
    • Discount Coupon Offer
    • Location of Business
    • Name of the person who gave final denial


    Q: How many times can I use coupons?

    A: Each coupon may be printed once for the annual membership, unless indicated as a “Repeat Deal” of "Continuous Deal", which may be printed once per day, or a "Quarterly Deal" which may be printed on a quarterly basis.


    Q: As a member, can I share my coupons with others?

    A: Anyone in a member’s household (living at the same residence) may use the coupons with the member’s permission.  If a member wishes to pass our terrific discounts on to others outside the household, he/she is welcome to purchase gift certificates for them, or direct them to CityDiscountDeals.com to purchase their own.
